The Influence of Capital Structure, Profitability, Liquidity, Ownership Structure, and Firm Size on Firm Value

ABSTRACT

The objective of the research was to find out the influence of capital structure, profitability, liquidity, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and firm size on firm value. The research used associative causal method. The population was 39 Firms of consumption goods industry listed in the Indonesia stock Exchange in the period of 2013-2016, and 21 of them were used as the samples, taken by using purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis was tasted by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that capital structure, profitability, liquidity, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and firm size had positive and significant influence on firm value, while institutional ownership had positive but insignificant influence on firm value.
