Pancasila Character in the Next Generation Indonesian Nation

ABSTRACT
The era of globalization is marked by advances in science, technology and art which have caused the flow of information and telecommunications to develop very quickly and worldwide. Likewise, relations between nations and between countries in various aspects of life are also developing rapidly and know no boundaries. In facing this global era of globalization, Indonesian people as a Nation and Indonesian Citizens must have intellectual qualities with Pancasila values that are firmly embedded in their thought patterns, attitudes and action patterns as the character of the Indonesian Nation. By possessing the values of Pancasila which are firmly embedded in the thought patterns, attitudes and patterns of action in every Indonesian human being wherever they are and at any time, whether in the family environment, in the educational environment or in the community environment, both nationally and internationally, then Indonesian people can ward off moral decadence. Therefore, it is necessary to anticipate this through Pancasila Education as part of education to instill the character values of the Indonesian nation. Smartness alone is not enough for every Indonesian in facing world-wide globalization, but intelligence with the character of Pancasila is what every Indonesian needs in facing the era of globalization, especially the next generation of the Indonesian who is responsible for the progress and decline of the Indonesian Nation and State. Let us instill, guard, maintain and develop the values of Pancasila in the thought patterns, attitude patterns and action patterns of Indonesian human character as the personality of the Indonesian nation in everyday life anywhere and at any time, and at the same time it is the obligation of every Indonesian nation. to pass on the values of Pancasila as the character of the Indonesian nation to the next generation of Indonesians.
